Pines – Expressive Typography

A product photograph of a black portable briefcase record player on a vibrant green background. A black vinyl record spins on the turntable, showing a white center label with a small twig illustration. In the lid pocket behind it rests an album cover with an off-white background; the top reads 'A Fine Frenzy' in a delicate script, and the central typography spells 'Pines' formed out of intricate, detailed illustrations of pine tree branches.

PINES (A Fine Frenzy) – An expressive type illustration turned "special edition" vinyl & concert poster concept. Hand-lettered in marker before converting to a many-layered digital composition. Shown here as a screenprinted dieline on pearlescent paper.

An album cover of 'Pines' vinyl package by A Fine Frenzy set against a vibrant green background. The off-white jacket features an intricate black ink illustration where the word 'Pines' is formed entirely out of textured pine tree branches, with 'A Fine Frenzy' written in a delicate script at the top left. A black vinyl record with a white center label is partially pulled out from the right side of the sleeve.

Shown below on pearlescent paper are three city-specific letterings based on the album art concept for local concert venue display.

A flat lay photograph of three white concert tour posters for 'A Fine Frenzy PINES' arranged on a rustic wooden surface. Each poster features minimalist typography at the top, a large central letter formed out of detailed black ink illustrations of pine tree branches, the city name in a script font at the bottom, and a small date and venue footer. The letters shown are 'D' for Dallas on the left, 'S' for Seattle in the center, and 'C' for Chicago on the right.
